Dark Gathering Manga
Keitaro, with a natural affinity for attracting spirits, lands a job as a tutor for Yayoi, a young girl with the ability to perceive spirits. Yayoi is on a quest to find the spirit responsible for her mother’s disappearance. Keitarou Gentouga has always been a magnet for spirits due to his strong spiritual presence. A past traumatic encounter left his right hand cursed, leading him to wear a glove constantly. Now in his freshman year of college, Keitarou strives for a semblance of a normal life. Encouraged by his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki, he takes up a job as a private tutor. His first client is Yayoi Houzuki, the tutoring firm’s most promising student.
To Keitarou’s surprise, Yayoi is Eiko’s cousin and possesses a unique ability—she has two pupils in each eye, allowing her to see into the spirit world and actively seek vengeful spirits for exorcism. Since losing her parents in a car accident, Yayoi has been on a quest to locate the powerful spirit that abducted her mother’s soul. Recognizing that spirits are irresistibly drawn to Keitarou, she enlists his help in collecting malevolent spirits to aid in her future battles. Despite the inherent dangers, Keitarou reluctantly decides to join her, grappling with his commitment to each encounter of new spirits along their journey.
